My Bathroom, Update- Show and Tell Friday

While avoiding as much as possible (housework), I decided to take a minute and read some blogs I follow.  I discovered Show and Tell Friday, at My Romantic Home.

Ephesians 6:14-15 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

I have been wanting to write a post very near and dear to my soul, or rather my soles.  I have a thing for shoes.

I don’t think I have a lot of shoes, but my husband completely disagrees.  This is all I have left after weeding out some of the less agreeable pairs.  Well, mostly all.  After taking this picture, I found a couple more pairs.  See the slippers in the back, on the right?  I don’t count slippers as shoes.

The sandal season is almost over now.  The pink ones on the end I bought for $6- had to have them.  I don’t choose my shoes based on price, but I would never turn down a good pair at an exceptional bargain.

Exceptional bargain is why these two pairs found their way into my closet this week.  I found these on the Macy’s clearance, while shopping with my daughter.  They were $14 each.  Should I have not bought them?  I think they were too good of a bargain to pass up.  Oh, and they feel so good on my feet.  Beth.

Hi Beth, thanks for stopping by my blog. Ok, now here's the thing with shoes: you can never have too many! The floral peeptoe are awesome, too! Love those. Jane F.

What do husbands no about shoes! LOL. My husband is retired he only wears sneakers and sandals and shorts and tee shirts.
My side of the closet is most of the closet with one small corner for him..LOL

Let me share my strategy with you... Don't keep your shoes all in one place. When your husband opens a closet door and sees your shoes he thinks "oh, she moved her shoes." and because he's a husband and only has a few pairs of shoes himself, he never realizes this isn't all of them. He just thinks you moved them. Been working for me over 35 years!

I don't know I got the title of this post mixed up. Sorry about that! That is a great strategy, Kluless. Thanks. Thanks for the comments everyone!

Those two pairs are so beautiful for $14, what a bargain. I have a hard time buying shoes, so I pay a lot of money I think...my feet are small and narrow. I would love to not have any shoe trouble next life. :-) I don't think that is anything near a lot of shoes. It's probably about what I have.

Enjoyed this post Beth. I love the new shoes. I am in need of a little shoe shopping, my closet needs a couple of cute shoes in it, not just practical last forever shoes.
